Creating your first event and setting up your Stripe account

How to setup your Stripe account and create your first event

Now that you’ve set up your Kennel Club page, you’re ready to create your first event!

To get started, click Create an Event. Once you’ve created a few events, you’ll also be able to access this option from the main menu in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 1: Enter Event Details

Fill out the basic details of your event in the form provided.

Tip: Not quite ready to set up an event? You can jump ahead and configure your Stripe account by clicking the Stripe tab on the left-hand side of the window.

Step 2: Connect Your Stripe Account

Once you’ve entered your event details—or jumped directly to the Stripe tab—click Add Stripe Account Details to set up your payment information.

Note: You only need to set up Stripe once. Future events will skip this step if your account is already connected.

Clicking Add Stripe Account Details will redirect you to Stripe’s secure setup page. You may need information from your club treasurer to complete this process. Stripe’s requirements vary based on the country your club is located in, so follow the prompts carefully.
